The everyday love we know off is far from unconditional; it is mixed with expectation and preconceived ideas and hopes for the unending support and fears of its end. Experiencing deep and unwavering love and compassion relies on our ability to gain deep enough nearness to ourselves and openness to others. The nearness necessary for unconditional love calls for a deepening of our condition reaching towards fearlessness, in Tibetan called jigme.
Deepening towards fearlessness, the condition of no more defence and aggression tendencies, all along lowering defences, while at the same time opening up to others. Relating from this deepening condition will initially reduce and later transcend negatively loaded projections, preconceived ideas and expectations of support, otherwise cluttering relationships.
We will be accessing these methods developed by Tarab Tulku XI to assist us in moving through layers of mental and emotional constructs. Accessing, a natural inner dimension, whose characteristic is a deep and powerful feeling of existing, unified in completeness. Established in this natural state of being, we feel a profound inner resilience and can embrace life openly, fearlessly and with curiosity, interest and abiding love.
The course is a part of the UD Education. However, it’s still an open course for those interested in this vital issue of how to develop Love and Compassion. This one-week course includes a progressive group of meditations for harmony, relationships and nature. Working mainly through the Buddhist traditions of Manjusri/Wisdom line, drawing on the line of Maitreya, we are on a journey of discovery. We will look at reopening oneself and others in a way that would naturally facilitate unconditional Love and Compassion to shine forth.
